Issue:

FTP transfers are slower compared to other protocols.

Solution:

In the Titan Admin Console, expand the Server name, go to Services, then to the FTP tab.  On that tab, there is a section called "Latency buffer size adjustments" where you can increase the size of the FTP Send Buffer Size (applies to files being downloaded from the Titan server) and/or FTP Receive Buffer Size (applies to files being uploaded to the Titan server).  The default value for each is 8192 (8 kb).  Increase this value incrementally until FTP transfer performance improves.  The logic behind the incremental increase is that as the buffer size goes up, the amount of memory used by each FTP transfer will also increase.  The Send and Receive Buffer sizes can be updated independently in order to address slower uploads or downloads.
